
Tim Van Peursem grew up in Sioux City, and graduated from Briar Cliff College in 2000 with a degree in Business and minor in Accounting. Tim began his career in the investment/financial services field with Smith Barney after graduation. Tim then made the transition to Security National Investment Services in 2003, located in Security National Bank, where he serves not only as a Financial Advisor but the Program Manager for the Security National Investment Services area. Tim holds his Series 7, 24, 63, 66 securities registrations and life, health, and variable insurance licenses.
A resident of Sioux City since kindergarten and North High graduate, Tim is active in the community especially in his involvement and education of the youth of the community. Tim is active in the youth sports and high school sports community; having coached several sports over his tenure both for his own children as well as countless others. He also has been asked to speak at various high school and college economics classes in the area to discuss the financial service industry and peak interest in the youth of this area to the industry.
Tim enjoys spending time with his wife Kristin, and two sons, Trey and Bryce. They enjoy the arts and love attending various musicals and concerts at the Orpheum. He can often be found either golfing or attending various sporting events, cheering on his favorite college or pro teams.
